MENU OF SERVICES At BARUSTORS we combine the one-stop convenience of a law firm, with the potentially unlimited pool of talent available from San Francisco’s 400-plus law firms. This depth of talent enables us to meet your company's legal needs three ways.
These are highly experienced professionals, many with twenty or more years of practice in commercial, licensing, copyright, trademark, employment, lending, construction, real estate, land use, environmental, corporate and other areas of law. They include litigators and trial counsel, as well as regulatory, appellate and transactional attorneys. Custom Counsel Teams: Large transactions, international matters, "bet-the-company" disputes and other complex legal issues usually require more than one attorney, often from two or more practice areas. Because we work with attorneys from many law firms, we can assemble the talent for you, either from different law firms, or from a single, larger firm. You have the option of disbanding the team at the conclusion of the matter, or keeping them together as outside legal counsel for subsequent matters. Either way, our services are gratis. Outside General Counsel: A growing number of companies are recognizing the value of employing an outside general counsel – a single attorney who oversees their companies’ legal matters. This arrangement is ideal for small and mid-sized companies that are not in a position to hire an inhouse general counsel. Many of the attorneys we know are seasoned professionals who have served as department heads and managing partners at their law firms. They are well suited for this role. Lawyer-To-Lawyer Referrals: Attorneys can minimize their firms' exposure to negligent referral suits by referring clients, callers, and over-flow matters to BARUSTORS rather than to another attorney. |
