We are competing to become your organization's referral colleague by endeavoring to offer your company the most reliable, informed legal referrals in America. To our knowledge, no other referral service in the country sets the bar as high as we do:
We limit our membership to attorneys who are partners in their law firms.
They must have a minimum of 15 years experience.
They must have no public record of discipline with the State Bar of California.
They must possess at least $1 million of professional liability coverage -- more than three times the amount required by the State Bar.
We will only refer attorneys for legal matters that fall under their primary practice areas. In order to determine these areas, we look at the legal issues these attorneys write and speak on, as well as the State Bar and ABA committees on which they serve.
We personally interview each member. We do not refer strangers.
We only refer attorneys who receive the highest marks from renowned, independent, peer-review publications, and regulatory agencies, such as:
Martindale-Hubbell
Best Lawyers in America
Chambers And Partners
California Lawyer magazine's "Best in the West" survey.
The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization
We survey every client. Failure to maintain very high approval ratings results in the attorney's removal from Barustors.
We are certified and regulated by the State Bar of California, an arm of the California Supreme Court, and we must operate in strict compliance with State Bar rules. Non-certified referral services do not have this oversight, and may be operating illegally.
To our knowledge, our minimum standards are the highest of any attorney referral service in America. That, combined with the fact that we share our findings with your company at no charge or obligation, leaves no reason to hire an attorney in the San Francisco Bay Area without asking us first.
